I purchased these three frames at Goodwill for a few bucks each, they had the glass and everything with them, but were just an unstained rough oak. But solid oak. Great frames. I painted them black, along with several other wood frames I already had and then used a high lustre lacquer to finish them.
I got these really nice white double mats for half off at Fred Meyer one day, so they were only $2-$3 a piece.
This was the best collage I could come up with, but I think it works okay and there is finally something taking up space on this huge wall behind our sofa. It really adds a lot of warmth to the apartment.
This was a pretty big project - I went through a lot of spray paint.
To hang the frames I cut out paper templates to tape onto the wall and then marked the location of where the nail would go and that worked out pretty well.

The Girls!
This was taken right before we went out to meet our husbands as they landed, so we were all in very good moods :)

Mason made a new girlfriend.
So last night I was watching TV and heard this funny jingling noise from outside and when I looked, there was another dog out there! A cute yellow lab puppy was tearing around the yard with Mason. The next door neighbor has been watching her for another neighbor, so when I told him she was missing he came over and got her.
Only to look out the window this morning and see her again! So I snapped a few pictures. I should probably go back over and tell him she's here, but they're just having so much fun playing :)

Here's Mason and Kayla.
